Writing for the bar exam isn’t like writing an essay or writing for any other format, and so I had the right ideas but I didn’t have the right organization or structure, and [my tutor] really helped me figure out how to fix that. So, my experience with AmeriBar was fantastic. . .

Well, the one thing I did do differently was not use Barbri... I used the AmeriBar materials and had the one-on-one tutorial for the essays. I do think it probably made a large difference in how I handled and approached my essays.

There were times on the actual exam that I thought, "this question is right out of my outline."

The first time I took the bar exam, I took the Barbri program, which was a big, huge program where you don’t get a lot of individualized attention. However, the second time I took a bar preparation course, I took it through AmeriBar. AmeriBar really provided the one-on-one help that I needed to pass the bar.

When I received the materials, I think I had approximately two weeks before the bar exam....I was impressed with the ease of studying the outlines. And I was impressed with having materials focused on what would be on the bar exam.

I just want you to know that if I can do it, you can do it too. And thanks to the fantastic folks at AmeriBar. They’ve come up with a great course that for my money is the best one going for anyone preparing to take the bar exam. Thank you very much.

This was the fourth time taking the bar ...and this time I passed. I used a competitor’s program for the prior three times, and I didn’t pass. I have to say that I think AmeriBar’s tutoring is what really pushed me over the top.

Why are they so much less expensive?’ I am so grateful that AmeriBar is less expensive than other review courses because it definitely packs a more full punch than the more expensive courses. I think the best thing about the AmeriBar course was that it did not waste my time. I had a limited amount of study time every day and a limited number of days until I took the test. The AmeriBar course was concise and contained all the information I needed but not more information than I needed – no long extra explanations of superfluous material.

There is so much material you don’t know that you have to know for the bar exam, that you’ll get pushed through it and as long as you keep your study schedule, you follow the requirements that are set up by AmeriBar, and you keep your study schedule, I guarantee this is a program that will provide success on the bar exam.

I didn’t just learn how to pass the test, I learned the law that was tested and I feel like I’m a better attorney because of it. I actually studied in a building; in a law school ... with a bunch of folks who were taking barbri and Kaplan courses and what I heard from them seemed to reinforce my thought that using AmeriBar was a good decision.

I think AmeriBar prepared me well… I don’t think there as anything on the bar exam that I hadn’t seen at least once in the materials from AmeriBar…. The materials provided by AmeriBar are just as good as the top competitor out there, which I’ve had experience with.

What impressed me the most about AmeriBar was that I was really able to tailor it to my own needs.

I would recommend AmeriBar for their stellar program, the cost – you can’t overlook that – and all the help they provide. Do your due diligence and I am sure you’ll come to the same conclusion. You really can’t argue with success.

I would definitely tell other law students about AmeriBar and I have. I really don’t see the point in spending $3,500 on some of the competitor programs that just I’ve never heard anything good about. The flexibility that this program offers, along with the cost savings – and that cost savings at the end of law school – is significant. And I felt like I was just as prepared as anybody else, if not more so because I was a lot more relaxed.

I felt so prepared and so well-versed in every area of the law for the exam. I never felt that way with BAR/BRI the first couple of times I took it. I can’t say enough about how well-prepared I felt and how relieved I was after failing twice to come back and just nail it after six years of absence from the law.

I took AmeriBar, I’m happy I did. And if I had to go back in time, I wouldn’t choose differently. Thank you very much.

I am 10 years out of law school and I finished in the 91st percentile on the bar exam my first try. I can’t imagine that any other course would have gotten me any better prepared..

The AmeriBar outlines were concisely written and easily readable. Following those outlines I was able to learn a great deal of material in a short amount of time. And I understood what I was actually reading.

Overall, Ameribar was a great value.

I would tell law students considering AmeriBar they should go with AmeriBar because the materials are put together in a superior way. They read much more smoothly. I think they’re put together in a more sequential and chronological way. They are far easier to comprehend, and learning it in a linear sequential way, the way AmeriBar has them set out, really helped me pass.

I give AmeriBar my highest recommendation, and if I were to sit for the bar in yet another state, I would again subscribe to AmeriBar without hesitation to get me through the law and guide me through the process. Thank you AmeriBar.

With the help of AmeriBar I passed the South Carolina bar. I wish I had known the first time and then I wouldn’t have had to take it twice.

Having a personal tutor is great because they give you one-on-one work, which you really can’t find anywhere else with any other bar prep program.

The written and other materials TELLING us how to approach studying really kept me on track . . . very very very helpful stuff. I followed it pretty closely. VERY good program, approach, lectures, written materials, all excellent. . . . And, of course, I'm thrilled I passed!!!!!
